Dynamic Thursday Morning Prayer and Bible Verses

Happy Thursday written on post-it note beside cup of coffee & pen

Good morning, and Happy Thursday! If you work Monday through Friday, then you have made it past the middle of the workweek (congratulations!).

Plus your weekend will be starting tomorrow evening (woo-hoo!). 🙂

See bulleted list below for Thursday Morning Prayer and Bible Verses. There are 6 prayers to choose from, along with 12 scriptures.

As always, God has constantly been there for us. We have much to be thankful for. There are so many blessings in our lives, and much of them we may not even be aware of.

God has given us incredible gifts, one of them being the sacrifice of His one and only precious Son so that we could be forgiven of our sins and have eternal life.

Many times, we are given more than what we need (how many of us have more than just the basics?).

It is so important that we make time every day to pray for our loved ones and friends, our neighbors, the people in our church family, for widows, for the fatherless/orphans, for the homeless, for individuals in high places, etc.

Thursday Morning Prayers

  • Heavenly Father,

Thank You for this beautiful Thursday!

I am grateful for the many ways

You have taken care of me this week.

Lord, You are so very good, and I am thankful.

May I go through this day showing Your love to others.

Please bless my family and friends.

    In Jesus’ Precious Name,

  • Holy Jehovah,

You have made this day, and I will rejoice and be glad in it!

Thank you for being so loving and merciful.

I turn any worries I may have over to You now.

Confessing my sins, I ask for Your forgiveness.

I kindly ask that You would watch over my neighbors.

May Your kingdom come and Your will be done,

  • Lord of Lords,

    Thank You for Your protection,

For commanding Your angels concerning me,

To guard me in all my ways.

Please teach me to number my days,

That I may present to You a heart of wisdom.

I pray that You would watch over all of the

Brothers and sisters in my church family.

  • God Almighty,

You are so gracious and powerful.

I am grateful for Your guidance.

Please fill my heart with Your peace and joy.

Your word says to look after the orphans and the widows.

Because of this, I ask for Your help to fulfill this order.

Thank You for all Your blessings,

  • Precious Savior,

Thank you for the many things You have done,

And all of the things You continue to do for me.

Please grant me a joyful heart and a spirit of love.

Scripture says that whoever is kind to the poor lends to You,

And that You will reward them for what they have done.

I pray that I would be generous to the needy, the homeless.

In everything I do, may I glorify You.

I lift Your Holy Name up on high,

  • Righteous Father,

You are so faithful and true.

Thank you for always taking care of me.

I pray that You would give me wisdom,

So that I may use the time You give me wisely.

I’m so very grateful You love me even though I don’t deserve it.

I pray now for all those who have high positions,

That You would bless them and give them guidance.

    I love You,
