வசனம் 1: உன்னதமானவரின் அடைக்கலத்தில் வசிப்பவர் எல்லாம் வல்ல இறைவனின் நிழலில் இளைப்பாறும்.
English verse 1: Dweller in the shelter of the Supreme rest in the shadow of Almighty God.
வசனம் 2: ஆண்டவரைப் பற்றி நான் சொல்வேன், “அவர் என் அடைக்கலம் மற்றும் என் கோட்டை. என் கடவுள், நான் நம்பியிருக்கிறேன்.
English verse 2: I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress. My God, I trust.
வசனம் 3: நிச்சயமாக அவர் உங்களைக் காப்பாற்றுவார் வேட்டைக்காரனின் வலையில் இருந்து மற்றும் கொடிய கொள்ளைநோயிலிருந்து.
English verse 3: Surely He will save you from the hunter’s net and from deadly pestilence.
வசனம் 4: அவர் தனது இறகுகளால் உங்களை மூடுவார், அவருடைய சிறகுகளின் கீழ் நீங்கள் அடைக்கலம் அடைவீர்கள்; அவருடைய உண்மையே உங்களுக்குக் கேடயமாகவும் அரண்மனையாகவும் இருக்கும்.
English verse 4: He will cover you with his feathers, under His wings you will find refuge; His truth will be your shield and fortress.
வசனம் 5: இரவின் பயங்கரத்திற்கு நீங்கள் பயப்பட மாட்டீர்கள், பகலில் பறக்கும் அம்பு அல்ல,
English verse 5: You shall not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day,
வசனம் 6: இருளில் பதுங்கியிருக்கும் கொள்ளைநோயும் அல்ல, மதியத்தில் அழிக்கும் கொள்ளைநோயும் அல்ல.
English verse 6: Not the pestilence that lurks in darkness, nor is the pestilence that destroys at noon.
வசனம் 7: உங்கள் பக்கத்தில் ஆயிரம் பேர் விழலாம். உனது வலது புறத்தில் பத்தாயிரம் ஆனால் அது உன் அருகில் வராது.
English verse 7: A thousand may fall by your side. Ten thousand are at your right hand, but they will not come near you.
வசனம் 8: நீங்கள் உங்கள் கண்களால் மட்டுமே கவனிப்பீர்கள் துன்மார்க்கரின் தண்டனையைப் பாருங்கள்.
English verse 8: You shall see with your eyes only the punishment of the wicked.
வசனம் 9: “கர்த்தரே என் அடைக்கலம்” என்று நீங்கள் சொன்னால், நீங்கள் உன்னதமானவரை உங்கள் வாசஸ்தலமாக்குகிறீர்கள்.
English verse 9: When you say, “The Lord is my refuge,” you are making the Most High your dwelling place.
வசனம் 10: எந்தத் தீங்கும் உன்னை அடையாது எந்தப் பேரழிவும் உன் கூடாரத்தை நெருங்காது.
English verse 10: No harm will befall you and no calamity will come near your tent.
வசனம் 11: ஏனெனில் அவர் உங்களைக் குறித்துத் தம்முடைய தூதர்களுக்குக் கட்டளையிடுவார் உன் வழிகளிலெல்லாம் உன்னைக் காக்க;
English verse 11: For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways;
வசனம் 12: அவர்கள் உங்களை தங்கள் கைகளில் உயர்த்துவார்கள், அதனால் உங்கள் கால் கல்லில் அடிக்க மாட்டீர்கள்.
English verse 12: They will lift you up in their arms so you don’t strike your foot against a stone.
வசனம் 13: சிங்கத்தையும் நாகப்பாம்பையும் மிதிப்பாய்; பெரிய சிங்கத்தையும் பாம்பையும் மிதிப்பாய்.
English verse 13: You will trample the lion and the cobra; You will trample the great lion and the serpent.
வசனம் 14: “அவன் என்னை நேசிப்பதால், நான் அவனைக் காப்பாற்றுவேன்; நான் அவரைப் பாதுகாப்பேன், ஏனென்றால் அவர் என் பெயரை ஒப்புக்கொள்கிறார்.
English verse 14: “Because he loves me, I will save him; I will protect him because he acknowledges my name.
வசனம் 15: அவர் என்னை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிடுவார், நான் அவருக்குப் பதிலளிப்பேன்; பிரச்சனையில் நான் அவருடன் இருப்பேன், நான் அவரை விடுவித்து அவரைக் கௌரவிப்பேன்.
English verse 15: He shall call unto me, and I shall answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.
வசனம் 16: நீண்ட ஆயுளுடன் நான் அவரை திருப்திப்படுத்துவேன் என் இரட்சிப்பை அவருக்குக் காட்டுங்கள்.
English verse 16: I will satisfy him with long life show him my salvation.
