5 Versions of Good Night Prayer, along with Bible Verses

Saying a good night prayer before drifting off for the night is an excellent way to finish the day.

When we take the time to focus on God and reflect on what happened (and the many ways that God showed up for us), it helps ease our minds so we can sleep peacefully.

God is always watching over us, and He has got everything under control. 🙂

Use any (or all) of the five prayers below to end your day in the best possible way. It is my hope and prayer that you have a very blessed and peaceful night!

Nighttime Prayers

  1. Heavenly Savior,
You are The One who makes me dwell in safety.
Because of this, I can lie down and sleep in peace.
I choose now to turn all of my worries and cares over to You.
You never sleep, and You are always watching over me.
Thank You for Your peace that guards my heart and mind.
In the holy name of Jesus I pray,
    Amen

I am so grateful for the many ways You take care of me.
Because of You, my life has purpose and meaning.
Help me to live in a way that brings glory to Your name.
May my hand always be placed firmly in Yours.

So I choose now to place all of my worries into Your hands.

You know all things, including what the future holds.
True peace is given to those who depend on You.
